Journaling like a Geologist at Higgins Beach
Join local science journalist Laura Poppick on a walk along Higgins Beach to learn how to see the world through a geologic lens, and how to decode some of the stories preserved in rocks along Scarborough's coastline. Laura will guide you through a journaling exercise to help you observe geologic details in the landscape. Sponsored by the Scarborough Land Trust. For free tickets visit the Scarborough Land Trust website. Meet near the street parking.
