Participants will learn about recent medical studies that identify reduced mortality and other benefits for individuals who participate in exercise programs, as well as the type, intensity, and frequency necessary to live a longer, healthier life.

 

BIO

Lauren St. Pierre is a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University, Geriatric Certified Specialist, Certified Dementia Practitioner and Geriatric Program Coordinator at the Maine Strong Balance Centers. Lauren has over 10 years of experience as a physical therapist working closely with the older population. She has developed a passion for helping people maintain a high quality of life for as many years as possible.
