Bio/Background: Rachael Goulet is a Scarborough-based community organizer, discussion facilitator, and host of queer and alternative community meetups in the greater Portland area. With a B.A. in Sociology and minor in Black Studies, Rachael has experience designing inclusive, gatherings that center queer history, gender and sexuality studies, race, class, and intersectional identity, with an emphasis on respectful dialogue and shared learning. Her work focuses on creating accessible spaces where people can engage thoughtfully with critical texts and ideas while building meaningful local connection. Rachael curates all discussion materials and readings and brings a facilitation style that balances structure with open conversation. Outside of community efforts, Rachael lives with her Husband, Girlfriend, and Mother and has worked in social media marketing for the last 15 years.
